Elmer Glick
With 14+ years of roofing experience and additional years of experience in construction, Elmer sees roofs as the most important structure of a home. That’s why his roofing work is done with those he trusts: family. Born in Lamar, PA, Elmer now lives in Bellefonte with his wife, Barb, and three children, Delilah, Caiden, & Fletcher. On the weekends, they enjoy golfing and watching Penn State football. Elmer is also passionate about doing men’s ministry to help men learn to thrive and live a life of purpose and passion.
Jonathan Glick
As one of the co-founders of the business Jonathan’s passion is helping our clients identify and resolve each and every roofing leak or issue. Jonathan lives in Bellefonte with his wife Sarah and their daughter Ellanor Rayne and dog Sammy. As a family we love traveling and hiking the local trails as well as playing golf and pickleball.
Andrew Glick
Andrew joined the company in the spring of 2022, currently leads the gutter and repair crew, located in the Howard area with his wife, Rebecca and two daughters, Marlana, Lilyana, Andrew along with his family enjoy spend their extra time in the outdoor exploring and discovering new things!

How do I know if my roof needs replaced?
Most roofs require replacement every 20-30 years, and signs of an aging roof include leaks, internal water damage to ceilings, and damaged shingles. Here at Starway Roof Systems, we don’t believe in replacing roofs that would benefit from repairs. If it is safe for your home and your family, we will do everything we can to extend the life of your roof.
What is the most common roof customers choose?
The general trend in the roofing materials market is to select asphalt shingles for a residential roof. About 75% of our jobs are asphalt, while 20% are metal and 5% are rubber, or flat roofs.
How long does a new roof take to install?
The time it takes to replace or repair a roof depends on each specific job. The size of your home and/or the extent of roof damage can alter our usual timelines. Some projects can be completed in 1-2 business days, while others can take 1-2 weeks. Repairs and similar projects can sometimes be completed in one day depending on the extent and needs of the repair at hand.
